FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

MINUTES

I. CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 2:09 p.m. by the Chairman, Mr. Brown.

II. ROLL CALL

PRESENT: William C. Brown, Chairman
Mario D. Pirritano, Vice-Chairman
John C. Minito, Supervisor
Christopher L. Allen, Supervisor
Robert P. Stanley, Jr., Supervisor
Stephen F. Smith, Manager
Donald F. Martin, Assistant Manager
Donna L. Nissel, Secretary

III. ANNOUNCEMENT OF EXECUTIVE SESSION

Mr. Brown advised that an Executive Session was held on September 10th to Interview a candidate for a Planning Commission vacancy

IV. RECOGNITION OF PUBLIC

There was no public present.

V. AGENDA ITEMS:

1. Ratify Bid Award, Paving – Colonial Woods, Highland Drive, Sawmill Road:

Mr. Stanley made a motion, seconded by Mr. Allen to ratify the bid award to Hempt Bros., in the amount of $102,622.25 for paving Elder Trail, Burgoyne Drive and Ethan Allen Drive, and base repair on Highland Drive and Sawmill Road.
Vote on the motion: All yes. The motion carried.

2. Ordinance No. 2012-5, Stormwater Management:

Mr. Pirritano made a motion, seconded by Mr. Stanley to adopt Ordinance No. 2012-5, Stormwater Management.
Roll Call Vote: Mr. Brown, yes; Mr. Pirritano, yes; Mr. Minito, yes; Mr. Stanley, yes; Mr. Allen, yes. The ordinance was adopted.

3. Resolution No. 2012-16, Condemnation of Two Properties:

Mr. Stanley made a motion, seconded by Mr. Allen to adopt Resolution No. 2012-16, authorizing the condemnation of 59 Fairview Road and one lot on Sewered Road
Roll Call Vote: Mr. Brown, yes; Mr. Pirritano, yes; Mr. Minito, yes; Mr. Stanley, yes; Mr. Allen, yes. The resolution was adopted.

4. Authorize Manager to Execute Documents:

Mr. Stanley made a motion, seconded by Mr. Minito to authorize the Manager to execute any and all documents and take all actions necessary to complete the transactions necessary, relative to acquisition of properties at 59 Fairview Road and one lot on Sewered Road.
Vote on the motion: All yes. The motion carried.

VI. EXECUTIVE SESSION

The Board recessed to Executive Session at 2:24 p.m.

VII. RETURN TO PUBLIC MEETING

The Board reconvened the public meeting at 2:52 p.m.
